Van Buren Animal Hospital 04/18/11 droped my 7 year old cat off to have surgery (spay and front declaw) at about 8:30 am, The vet called me at about 3:00 PM to tell me that my cat died but could not explain to me how or why. This has hurt my wife , daughter, and myself very much. I will never take anouther pet to any vet agian untill I do alot of research on them first. Van Buren animal Hospital dosn't know what they are doing!!!!!! They only know how to put your pet to sleep;;;;PERMANENTLY!
Xenophobic review ? I have been in Riverside for 25 years, after moving from the West Coast. I live on an acre of land and I have had different dogs and vets. Dobies, Labs and now a little Chiwawa :). I have a thriving 13 y.o. female Lab. I NEVER experienced him being rough or careless with any of my dogs. He is knowledgeable, caring and his fees are reasonable. He is not xenophobic and I don't mind his foreign accent. Jeeeez !
So-So Opinion on this Vet Service Had recently moved from CT to CA and was looking for a good veterinarian. He, along with most vets in my area have walk-in so you can hit a good day/time and get seen right away or you might be 8th in the waiting room. (Never heard of such a thing on the East Coast.) As Long As Our Pets Are Receiving Good Care I was referred to Van Buren Animal Hospital by my sister-in-law after relocating from another city. She takes her pet there and loves the doctor. I loved our pets previous Vet and wanted to provide the same quality service to them. The fees aren't too bad. Service is fine as well. Overall I have no real complaints as long as our pets are beening cared for.
Friendly Staff This was my first time getting any of my dogs spayed. I took my dog in today and the receptionist/nurse was friendly and helpful with all the information I needed to know about getting my dog spayed. She was nice to my dog. I knew my dog was in good hands. However, I didn't get to personally meet the doctor who performed the operation on my dog. But it's OK because my dog got through the operation and is now resting. CUSTOMER SERVICE I just need to say how very unprofessional and rude this particular Vet is! From the person answering the phone to the actual Doctor himself! I have never encountered such rude and uncaring people as these people. Usually, the vets are really nice and helpful. Not at Van Buren. You can even get that vibe over the phone! Not good customer service at all when the customer feels like they are bothering the staff and especially when the staff is irritated! REALLY BAD!!!
Good Vet He's been taking care of my dogs for years. He saved the life of my first one and I've been doing there ever since. I feel my dogs get very personal attention and they are always very nice. when 2 of my dogs passed away (not at the same time - one suddenly and one from old age), they were very sympathetic and helped us with final arrangements and were as upset as we were about it.
Friendly & Affordable Price seemed reasonable and cheaper than other overpriced animal hospitals that I've been to. The doctor was friendly and took good care of my dogs. I am very pleased with this veterinary practice.
They seemed disorganized when I stopped there to try to make an appointment for my dog. Therefore, I did not even stay long enough to make the appt, or to bring my animal there. I have to trust the staff who would be caring for my pet.
