Opposite of value
Absolutely the worst experience buying furniture. I bought a sofa with an ottoman at the beginning of February and was told the ottoman wouldn't come till March 12. March passed and now it's mid April and I don't get a call or email for an update. Finally decided to call to see when my ottoman will arrive and was informed it won't arrive till the end of June. I bought the sofa with the ottoman because I have a back and just feel like they let me down. Never buying from here again.
I’ve shopped at various furniture stores in the 7 years I’ve been on island and the customer service I received at Valyou is the absolute best service. I appreciate Maria and Elena so much. Such friendly and efficient help, a refreshing experience from the other furniture stores on island.
The couch is beautiful, and I appreciate that the covers are removable for washing. However, after washing them, they were completely ruined. What’s worse, they don’t mention that washing the covers voids your warranty. I originally purchased the covers in 2022 for $299, but when I checked today to buy new ones, I found they are now priced at $800. Purchased this couch in May 2024, less than 6 months ago. We purchased the 2 year extended warranty and we reached out as the fabric on our couch is “warping”. We haven’t washed the fabric yet but do not have AC so our thoughts is that it is due to the high humidity in Hawaii. The customer service was great for delivery but the quality is greatly lacking. We have two young kids so we knew that buying the warranty would be the smart decision for our family but Valyou is being unresponsive. There is no one to speak to live on ... read more
