I think people underestimate the value of great customer service when dealing with mechanics/repair shops. I called all the local shops, many to my surprise do not allow you to supply your own oil/filter. The ones that did were not able to perform the oil change last minute, which is understandable. I called Valvoline and they were able to do $41.50 for the labor. I use to pay $20-$30 a couple years ago but like many other things, I acknowledge prices have gone up.
