Great selection, but high priced This Value Village has a fabulous selection of clothes to choose from! Real nice quality stuff and great name-brands. The store itself is organized nicely. It is easy to find what you are looking for. I also like the colored tag sales they have that last longer than a day (unlike Goodwills). I love a bargain....BUT... I will agree with some of the other reviewers of the overpricing. It's only gotten worse over the last year.
Over priced I love 2nd hand stores, and go to them about 3 times a week. The value village however, does not seem aware that their items are USED and that they are a USED thrift store because they have practically NEW prices. In a few cases ive even seen a higher price on a used item then I could buyit new! Example: I saw a stroller the other day with a 69.99 tag... this same stroller was on sale for 49.99 at target that week.
New & Used Items -- Great Deals Value Village always has new stuff on sale. Everyday there is another tag color half off. And if you donate anything they give you a coupon for a free item. Excellent thrift store!
mostly good deals, but try consignment shops for better ones Normally I like Value Village and thrift stores in general, but this one just doesn't cut it overall. The only reason I rated it 3 stars is because it's a free place to take my used items that I just need to get rid of. But for purchasing items, it's not a good deal. Most of their items they get donated, but the prices are outrageous and many products aren't even clean.
