I was reached out to by this company to start offering appraisal services. This company claimed to be started by appraisers and an advocate for appraisers, however, that is the furthest thing from the truth. The final straw for me was when they sent me over a full 1004 appraisal with a fee of $290 plus a $13 upload fee. For those unaware, the upload fee is just another way for the AMC to nickle and dime the appraiser and has us pay for their software and technologies required for the appraisal. They have started to push appraisers to make correction that they disagree with. Not because of any violation or compliancy issues, just merely because they "disagree" with the appraisal. That is not their job, to "Disagree" with the appraisal. They come awfully close to violating appraiser independence and Dodd Frank
