Great service, great environment. Food was really good. Service was amazing over all. Had diner at the bar, ordered antipasto and lasagna with wine by the glass. All was great. The best meal I had in SLC
I was going to consider eating at Valters Osteria for upcoming birthday celebration based on reviews. After looking at the pics of the food and how the food was poorly presented on plates, I decided against it. I’m sure the food tastes wonderful but the presentation is not great for the price you pay. I’ve eaten at many fine dining establishments in OR, WA, UT and Los Angeles, and am very familiar with quality of food and presentation plays a crucial role in experience and what you pay for. Best restaurant in SLC. A must visit.
Great food! Amazing service by Ricardo and others! Certain dishes prepared table-side is quite a show! Super expensive (like a $40 salad), but worth the splurge for a celebration.
Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. We were seated 20 minutes late for a 7:30 reservation, with no apology or acknowledgement, and there was little to no room to sit and wait. Our drinks were forgotten at the bar until we asked for them to be brought over, which happened at 8:20. This timing for a late reservation isn't acceptable.
