I’ve been to Valter’s at least half a dozen times. It is really sad to say my latest experience was so disappointing I doubt I will return. The hostess kept us and 4 parties waiting for over 15 minutes before greeting us. The food menu was brought to us 35 minutes after we sat down. The wine recommended was so poor we wanted a different wine but didn’t see the server for over 20 minutes to get a new glass of wine. This place reminds me of New York Baltimore Chicago Italian experiences. Everything is done. Upscale the services tremendous the atmosphere is inviting. The price is reasonable
Valter’s Osteria is simple and elegant, though nothing outstanding. The ambiance works, refined and comfortable. Service was below expectation for this price range. Basic tasks like order accuracy and the server’s presence was lacking, the Spanish staff for other tables were present with their tables.
