This detox center was one of the worst detox experiences I've had. Unfortunately I've had a few. However, the pictures do not depict the facility as they advertise it. The food is bland, ready-made, and lacking in flavor or variety. Some of the staff was friendly. You are not allowed to contact your family directly for the entire stay, instead the staff wants to relay messages to and from. Worst experience at a detox center I've had.
I'd actually give this place all the stars in the sky, ya know -- I've never in my life been in a more recovery condusive environment in my recovery journey. It really is All about the patient/client, and they really focus on making you as comfortable as they can as you experience withdraw. The staff and everyone I met seemed to be extremely nice and attentive. That means the world when you feel like you're dying. Well, I feel alive again. Thx.
