I feel as if I generally got the help I needed to be able to come home after 60 day treatment plan and continue my sobriety. The staff tries very hard to make you feel like your at home with family. Give it a try if you feel your in need of help from active addiction, they're waiting on ya.
Should be condemned!!! This is a converted and dilapidated, previous nursing home. Still has old nursing home beds and old metal bunk beds with up to 4 girls in a room. The furniture is a mix collected from what looks like the street and old motels. The dining room is small with two elementary school connected tables. You know? With the tiny circle seats a foot off the ground? If you are late for (one clock in the building!!) you don’t get it. I was there for treatmetment for alcohol. Unfortunately I was sent back to jail for smoking. Meanwhile half of the staff were smoking
Not gonna lie… I have never known hunger in my life until this place until my family was able to get me TONS of groceries. Other than that, yes, the place is extremely ghetto and you can’t flush your toilet paper, but I’ve made some of the best friends that anyone could ask for. The techs are AMAZING and care so much about all the girls, especially Tracy and Mammie. I cried every day when I got there and had no friends, except Tracy. She made me feel like I wasn’t a failure and that my life wasn’t over. She gave me hope. At ... read more
