I am a seasoned Realtor of 40 years in Bakersfield. I received an offer from an agent from Downey who sent a pre qual letter from Valley View. I am always cautious of using out-of-town lenders because I do not know their reputation, will they perform, communicate etc. I received glowing reports of the borrower: proof of funds bank statement showing $150,000 in the bank, loan officer Gonzalo Lemus said they had 800 fico scores and that the borrower was within debt to debt-to-income ratios.
