I left this place in September of 25 it was the most horrific tramatizing experience don’t ever send your kids here they make it seem like a summer camp vibe but I can promise you it’s not, you have to fake it to make it in this place or they’ll never let you leave or threaten to send you to DYS constantly there was kids trying to kill themselves with staff encouraging them to do it NEVER SEND ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT HERE.

I went there as a kid very terrible place. Locks you up in a room, don't let you out if they don't want to. You have to fight over food in the morning on the weekends. For cereal, if the cereal runs out, they don't care. You have to wait for lunch one time. They bring in 2 mountain lions and told us if we run away that they will let the mountain lions catch us. They won't even chase us. Not a good place to send kids, ranch should be shut down.Should have been shut down a long time.Ago

i do not believe this place should stay open. the beds in hill house are 6 inches from the floor, locked doors behind you everywhere, isolation rooms, horrible supervisors, and unprofessional staff. i myself have never been in isolation, because my 5'6 98lbs self NEEDED to get out of there. i was assaulted twice and all the staff did was give two hours of room time even though i did not fight back in attempt to leave. they claim they can provide a safe environment but i have witnessed many kids self-harm while in their care.... read more
