Get directionsI have been to the ER twice within the last two months and sent home. The doctors said nothing was wrong and told me to follow up with a PCP. According to their Diagnostics Department, they should have provided a cd with a copy of my X-Ray and CT scan. They should have at least advised me that I could request a copy. They didn’t even provide a copy of my labs. Don't like this hospital at all but sadly it's been my only choice to go to wait is always 1 hour if not more one time my son bashed his face off of the cement and was still bleeding after making the 20min walk there and sat in the waiting room for 5 hours as they called people in for upset stomaches or a little splinter plus it also lacks resources like rides for people that took the ambulance and no way home I got an ambulance ride with my 4 month old I have asked for them to find me a ride home but instead of that I am be... read more
Luckily, I have not had to visit the emergency room often. Every time that I have had to go however, the doctors and nurses are so friendly, respectful and professional. I was there last night and every nurse that worked with me was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. My doctor, Dr. Nadeem was wonderful. I wish all doctors were as kind as he is. Dr. Sawyer. On two seperate occasions, with two separate adult daughters of mine. Dr. Sawyer was the physician in the ER. He is a true testimony of ahat the ideal experience should be in an emergency room, or with any health care situation. He instilled confidence and a sense of security on both occasions, was patient, understanding, asked questions, listened and then explained, shared and took the time to engage with us so that we had a complete understanding on what to so moving forward.. Just a way to waste time by telling you to go see your primary doctor as they are unsure. Will have to deal with pain and problems until then. Glad they can have time to joke around and relax while patients are in the waiting room.
