Waited 2 weeks for an appointment and then they call me the day before saying there's not enough staff, next appointment is another 2 weeks wait. Very poor service

Was told by my family doctor I was on a standby list to go in anytime to any Dynacare to get my blood work done for a thyroid condition. I said do I have to make an appointment they said no just stop in so I drove half an hour to the nearest Dyna care walked in said I'm on a standby list. They told me no you have to make an appointment. I said no I just drove here. I was Told to come in anytime they said no you have to have an appointment. sorry have a nice day. Poor service.

I know that walk-ins have been discouraged at the Osoyoos clinic for a while now, I went directly to the Dynacare website to book my appointment. What a gong show! This website is exceptionally poorly designed. The ONLY option is to book a blood test. This is a huge roadblock, especially if the Dr requisition has a whole host of tests -- not just a blood drawing process. Instructions and help should be up front. I walked into Dynacare today with a mission so simple it should have been foolproof: I just wanted to pick up a plastic container so I could, eventually, provide a stool sample. Apparently, I was asking for the nuclear codes. The VIP Gatekeeping I barely got two feet past the automatic doors before I was hit with the standard-issue greeting: “Hi, do you have an appointment?” I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I needed to RSVP and book a 15-minute slot just to be handed an empty piece of Tupperware.
