I walked into Dynacare today with a mission so simple it should have been foolproof: I just wanted to pick up a plastic container so I could, eventually, provide a stool sample. Apparently, I was asking for the nuclear codes. I was so impressed by Brittany. The office is short staffed and she is pleasant, professional and efficient. It was very easy to book my appointment online.

The young lady behind the counter is wonderful. I had a mix-up with my requisition form being faxed but not found when I came in, and she was very patient and kind and helped me get it rectified so I could get my test done without having to come back later.

Only by appointment now. If there is a way to speed things up in BC man, it sure is by adding another step and booking system to the process! Apparently Valley Medical Lab has decided to take patients only by appointment now. They want to be more like the rest of Interior Health and the province of BC and get less done and back the system up even further. Appointments are 3 weeks to a month out minimum.
