Unfortunately after 7 years this office has gone downhill horribly. I was told today, as a diabetic patient with a thyroid condition that requires daily medication, that I need to “call back when the new doctor starts, because the other doctors in the practice are booking into 2024” and was not given any options for the DAILY medication I’m prescribed. That’s a great way to treat your patients who have been coming religiously to the practice.
I’ve been with the Ridgewood practice since 2007. I then switched to Wayne, the drs left. Now I’m back to Ridgewood. I made an appointment in November 2022 . They couldn’t give me an appointment until September 2023. Almost a year. So ridiculous. A patient especially with diabetes should not have to wait that long. Left me high and dry. I am in the same boat as all of these others... left high and dry by Valley Medical Group after going through a couple of doctors. It is very disappointing that Valley Medical has dropped the ball and left so many without these much needed services. Time to give up on Valley Medical Group and find services elsewhere.
Valley is very irresponsible for cutting out all the endocrinologists in this office. No arrangement for any other doctors to write refill prescription and no explanation of what's happening. Patients are left in the dark. The only option given to me is to make an appointment with the doctors in the Valley Hospital's main campus which is very far away from Wayne. They don't even have appointment at least for another 3 months. Whoever running the Valley Medical Group should be reprimanded or fired for causing this mess to all... read more
