Took my father to this ER after complaints of weakness, fever and high BP(194/99). Everything went smoothly until the Dr. Heller came after an hour wait. She asked all the same questions that nurses already asked and charted, which is fine. She was cutting me off while I was answering her questions. HIGHLY upset. I took my daughter that has multiple medical issues to the ER for severe painful chest pain shortness of breath and back pain with some coughing. The nurse Jennifer did àn EKG,blood work and X-rays ànd told me that those looked good but could not take a test to rule out perecoronotis She also told me that they have had many other patients with chest pain sitting in the lobby for hours. I had a terrible experience. Came in with chest pain (especially on my left side), shortness of breath and nausea. I felt like I was on the brink of passing out and still was not seen after 3-4 hrs sitting in pain in the waiting room. I had come 2 days prior to this current visit (with the same symptoms) and was told my bloodwork came back normal only to discover (upon checking my MyChart after the visit) that I have a severe iron deficiency. While my child received wonderful service/treatment from the nurses and reception staff, the ER physician (Mline)could have used more bedside manner. As for billing, we are fortunate to be able to pay our bills. However, the billing company representing the physicians are horrible and incompetent. Associated EMG Physicians INC would send out billing statements last minute back to back while threatening you to pay the bill in 3 days or else collections.
