God help you if you end up in the ER here. I grew up in a medical family (3 registered nurses, 1 medic who became a biology professor), so what I experienced here was horrifying and shocking. I was denied an oral antibiotic which could have saved the sight in my shingles damaged eye at a critical time and told by the staff that I was "faking" being deaf!.......when right across the Hwy at Vocational Rehabilitation I had already been sent to an audiologist, tested, and approved for hearing aids!
