Please do not go here, especially if you have any trauma history or have experienced gender based violence. Night nurses were wonderful (Ella) and the midwives. After a long labor, hrs of pushing, baby wouldnt' descend. The OB on call (Kundacina) shoved her hands inside me without warning or verbal cue. When I clammed up and began shaking, she commanded me to "relax, relax your legs and bottom". No coaching or teaching on how to relax after that. I gave birth to my daughter here June 2023. Found out a couple weeks later I had a retained placenta and when I went back to check the doctor notes for my delivery they stated my placenta was fully delivered which was obviously WRONG. Years later I now have scarring and issues with my second pregnancy because of the retained placenta which should’ve never happened. I’ve talked to a few other people who delivered there around the same time and they also had retained placenta which shouldn’t be normal. They were short staffed ... read more

I truly had an amazing experience here. I birthed at a different hospital for my first and it was not the greatest experience so I was a little nervous coming into my second birth. The midwives were absolutely amazing the nurses, with the exception of one issue with the one nurse, we’re super attentive And listened to my needs. I highly recommend them Midwife Service as well as the lactation support!
I had an amazing experience at Valley Medical Birth Center. My labor nurse Cindy was amazing. She was so dedicated and always on her toes. She helped me in delivering normally as I was at risk of infection due to water break. I am so grateful to her. Dr. Clay was my Obgyn and she has been great. Dr. Martin delivered my baby and she was meticulous. Even postpartum nurses were great and so caring.
