After over 50 years in the automotive service industry, I couldn't have found a better place to service my car. Before you blindly say yes to a laundry list of "needed" repairs at your friendly new car dealership, that somehow they never noticed when your car was under warranty as you religiously had them maintain it, bring it to these folks.
A friend recommended Valley Imported Auto - after my prior mechanic retired, I had experimented with a few in-betweens and found them lacking - in organization, or honesty, or fair pricing. I now have my new favorite mechanic. Have brought 3 family cars here for the past year and have been so pleased with their work. Honest, fair, organized, and friendly as well! I'd give more stars if I could.
The people that work here fixed my engine and brakes for astronomically less than I was originally quoted for at my dealership mechanic. Plus they fixed my front bumper free of charge. I cannot recommend this place enough. 10/10 would visit again.
Made the mistake of going to a national oil change shop. Was I told I needed about $4000 of work and the car was in danger of breaking down immediately. Took the car to Valley Imported. They put it up on the rack and told me next time don’t bring it in unless you have a problem. I have been having my car serviced there for the last five years. They are fair priced and great to deal with. Don’t go anywhere else!
I am a young woman. Valley imported auto never tries to take advantage of me because I don't understand something. Straight forward, fair prices, fast, best mechanic shop in CT!
