Years ago, I was sent to this facility after calling a suicide hotline. I wasn’t sure if I was suicidal — I just knew I was in a dark place, deeply depressed, and needed someone to talk to. I will never do that again. What followed was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. They lied to me about what would happen and had me taken to a hospital, where things quickly spiraled. Was looking for a place to refer somebody to for mental health services, however after reading all of the negative reviews (1.9) I don’t believe I would recommend anybody to this place. When this many people complain about the same issue and abuse, it’s serious problem. no compassion whatsoever. was told if i cried id just be kept there longer. they wouldn't let me call MY LEGAL GUARDIAN. the only one who had any empathy was this sweet red haired lady who did intake. she brought me clothes on her day off. the rest of yall are terrible though. i reached out for help and felt punished.
Don’t send your kid here if you’re trying to get them Help this place does not help Only thing it’s gonna do is make your child worse. I’ve seen stuff that goes on there. It’s worse than you can ever imagine. Unless you wanna actually torture your child. Don’t send them here.
I absolutely hated it there, most of the staff just ignore you and they do nothing to help. The first few days I was there I didn't eat anything at all and didn't care to make my daily phone call, (they only give you like 7 minutes to talk anyway.) I feel like they should sort which unit, or whatever it's called, based on behavior instead of age.
