I was lucky enough to be part of the Pulmonary Rehab program at St Joseph's. I live in Green Valley Arizona and was put on supplemental oxygen 24/7 with no medical reason given. in December 2024. I lived with Oxygen into the spring of 2025. I started my calls to try to get into pulmonary rehab. I finally got a referral from my heart doctor. I would not recommend that anyone go to Bristol Wound Care. My husband saw very little improvement after 5 months of treatment. They kept doing the same thing over and over again with the same result...nothing. They treat their patients like a herd of sheep taking everyone to the exam rooms at once. The "wound specialist" took no part in the treatment itself. His wound was never cultured or debride. The only time treatment was changed was when I asked if there was anything else we could try. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Valerie Serrano. She showed little care or concern for her patients and made me feel completely unheard. Her attitude came across as dismissive and unprofessional, and it seemed like she was more focused on rushing through appointments than actually helping. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who truly listens and cares about their patients’ well-being.

It's actually a long story but will give you the cliff notes. I used the Boynton location 5 years ago and no issues with the procedure, but the help and assistants were not good. Talked to some of my friends now and funny thing is they thought the same thing. Terrible follow-up and they just didn't care. So, I said wow look you have an office closer to me maybe I can go to that one. They fought me on it but finally said ok. Had an appointment Dr seemed nice. Today was a day when grief for myself and my mother was covered up with a smile. A week after the burial of my mother, my body has collapsed with exhaustion from caregiving. And, like so many caregivers my health became compromised after months ( and years) of being responsible for the parent I so loved. Provider lacks empathy, I think she should reevaluate herself before judging her patients. Communication and compassion are severely lacking. The providers depth of knowledge should also be called into question. I wouldn't recommend this provider.
