Horrifying! Why is this place still abusing animals? DON'T TAKE YOUR PET HERE! My 8 year old dog had no medical problems until Dr Lexi Rugg got her hands on her. Dr Rugg wanted to keep her overnight for tests. $12,000 later I picked up a fully bandaged dog. I removed the bandage at home and it horrified me. She had pulled her skin and fur off and whip stitched it back. When I confronted her I noticed that all the animals in the waiting room had bandages. Money Hungry Vet If you want to pay for services your pet does not need and be hustled for medications that aren't necessary, this is the place to go. So many unnecessary procedures performed on a daily basis for the sole purpose of charging the client. Don't let this vet fool you. Animals are stuffed into cramped cages where they lie in their own waste throughout the day and medicated improperly
Professional,Friendly Service ! I am very impressed by the services offered here and with Dr Rugg and her staff. My new puppy was treated so well and I was given lots of great advice on handling my new Lab. Fees are very fair as well. I can highly recommend Dr Rugg and Valley Animal Hospital.
Dr. Rugg is an exceptional vet! My lab received a horrible wound by running into a screw. Thanks to Dr Rugg and her staff he has fully recovered. I highly recommend all of them. They took their time to explain options, took great care of my dog while he was there, and gave me exceptional instructions to follow at home to help me save money. Top Notch, Top of the Line, Just the Best!!!!!! I would have to say this is the best Veterinarian in town. I originally was a client of the late Dr. Westheimer. After many temporary, lousy veterinarians, Dr. Lexi Rugg took over the practice in 2007. Now, there is no one that can replace Dr. W, but Dr. Rugg is great in her own way.
