They bill for a person that is not in room because they can, apparently. We don't even know if the doctor Sturm listed on the bill was even in the building as the CRNA was the one in the room. Their invoice is embarrassing laid out to where things only actually add up if you use your imagination and suspend logic. We may drop our son's doctor just because they use this service.
Don't answer their phone insurance wanted to speak to them since they rebilled the claim. Insurance paid the claim and I'm still getting bills 2 months later

I was at Lewis Gale hospital for a procedure on 02/01/2024 that required local anesthesia. I received a bill from Valley Anesthesia for $522.50 x 2 . I called to question the bill and was told they had 2 anesthesiologists there in cases one had to leave during the procedure. That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I refuse to go back to this hospital
It’s clear to me that these folks are scam artist. Even though Medicare pays for all of a colonoscopy, this company said I owed over $79. When I called they said I had to take it up with my insurance company. When I called my insurance, they said this company didn’t bill correctly and they had already called the company and they wouldn’t fix. After several more calls, I gave up and paid it. Within 2 weeks….another bill arrived. I have made MANY CALLS and have been assured it would be fixed. BEWARE!
