We've been using Valet Yacht Services since they came to Maple Bay a few years ago. Every single interaction we have had with Stratos and Patrick has been fantastic. They communicate well, the timelines are always what we've all agreed to or sooner and our haul outs are safe, professional and stress free. Their yard staff are friendly and we always feel welcome in the yard when we are doing our own work. Their prices are more than fair and we wouldn't dream of taking our boat anywhere else.
Book at any other marina. These people are indecisive and difficult, especially Stratos (the project manager). Have never had so much trouble booking a haul out.
It was almost 3 years ago when I brought Welo my 1974 Newport 28 to Shelter Marina with a hope of living and working on her but found it an enormous overwhelming task to tackle all the known repairs that had to be done. Patrick and Stratos have been taking care of our boat's needs since 2019. We have been quite happy with their service and we already scheduled our next haul-out at their new location in Maple Bay.
We are thrilled to have a well managed business operating the boatyard in Maple Bay. I continually receive positive feedback from boat owners. Jessie, their mechanic, is rebuilding the legs our are older Sundance 300 and doing a complete overhaul/check up on the engines. I am looking forward to getting our boat back out on the water when it is all done.
