Fresh bread I like going to Valerio's and buying their freshly made taho in the morning. It's made just right - not too sweet, not too bland either. I also like getting their bread with ube inside. Whenever I go in the bakery, there's always a lot of people there. I'm craving for some taho right now!
Valerios Around here, Valerios City Bakery is known for it's rolls. It does a good business--the store is always busy. Many items are produced on the premises, testified to by the aroma of freshly baked goods that comes out the door along with the heat. (Businesses in this shopping center get air conditioning only if they pay extra for it.) I have problems with many of the items sold in plastic wrap--they take on the taste and smell of plastic. GET SOME NOW!!!! Valerio's is a really great bakery. The Pan de sal is always fresh. I always get the pan de sal, pan de leche, and I cannot leave without getting myself some of the cheese rolls. Prices are cheap for great pastries. Good service and nice people.
local treat i always buy ensyamadas from them because they are freshly baked everyday. I always give it to people who are not from california. my relatives loves it. they always ask me to buy them some whenever i go visit them. the aroma of fresh baked goodies is always a plus. they have a lot of customers that are loyal to them. the prices are reasonable and their store is quite small but it is ok because they sell lots of stuff even if their store is small.
This place is fab. Another filipino pastry bakeshop in my area. They have the bestest pandesal and shopao in town. Also they have different dessert to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you're having a picnic outing or any events. Their dessert shoulb be on your list.
