I came in an ambulance to condell ER and was treated absolutely unprofessionally by all the staff. I work in the ER at a NorthShore hospital so I fully understand ER protocol and the workflow. This PA that I saw Valerie Tolomeo really tried to tell me my abdominal pain was due to period cramps. As a 25 year old woman who has had my period for over a decade I don’t think I would present to the ER, in an ambulance, with 9/10 abdominal pain due to period cramps.
