I went to Valentinos Bistro in Lansdale. I arrived at 6:10 A.M. to an empty parking lot. It opens at 6:30A.M. according to signs in the front and back entrances. Nobody arrived till 6:45. As I am typing this I have been waiting to be seated for 11 minutes at the "Please Wait To Be Seated" sign. When I saw the owner/chef park he parked at the only Handicap Parking spot that is there. I like it. – I've been going here since they opened. The food is very good and prices are reasonable. I've never had any problems with the wait staff. They don't gush over you but I can't say they were ever bad - and I've had plenty of those. The ambience is not the greatest. But this is where I go for Italian.
Good food, bad service! – Valentino's has some very good food for a little known bistro. If you want to taste very good Italian food, this is the place to go. However, if you want to have friendly wait staff and to have all the information you need on a menu, this is NOT the place to go. They only serve breakfast from 6:30 AM to 2 PM, but, according to the manager on duty, they REFUSE to put that on the menu.
