It's seen better days. It seems past its expiration date. It was dark and stuffy inside. Lots of tourists. Overpriced, ok food. Nothing special or innovative. I guess it's perfect for the older crowd who doesn't like change.
The BEST italian restaurant in LA. The pasta with fresh truffles shaved on top is a must try, if you don't see it on the menu, just ask them -- easily one of the best things I've ever eaten.
It is very romantic inside with plush seating, booths, and white linen tables. Our server, thick italian accent, was very nice and recommended great dishes! He helped us choose our wine with a budget and flavor in mind.
The service was outstanding. The best waitstaff. Everyone was very attentive to us. The wine list was a huge book, but the waiter was kind enough to pick us out a bottle. The food was fantastic.
