I had a surgery with Dr. Almendarez, and it went well. His team is wonderful (10/10)! Overall, I felt safe with Dr. Almendarez and was pleased with his service. However, please be aware that there may be out-of-network members on his surgical team. This was not discussed with me ahead of time and caused me to appeal a ~$30,000 bill from an out-of-network Surgical Assist when there are plenty in-network options. Dr. Almendarez is the best OB I have ever had. He listens to me. He knows, I know my body. My endometriosis has been with me since I was 10 and no one, no one told me I even had it….
