Dr Courson provided excellent emergency care for Tilly, a Golden Doodle, that had been ran over by a vehicle. They were waiting on ready when she arrived and quickly started evaluating and giving care to determine the extent of her injuries. So very thankful for the kindness and professionalism that was given during this traumatic event. Tilly is still being evaluated but it appears she’ll make a full recovery. I highly recommend this emergency vet!
I can’t say enough good things about VVA. After my cat was misdiagnosed three times at her primary vet, I brought her here for further testing. In just one day they found stones that needed immediate surgery. They kept my cat for a week to stabilize her and perform surgery, and now she’s back home and back to the happy, healthy cat I’ve known for seven years. My first experience with VVA was on August 5, 2026. My sister had called ahead to let the staff know my son was on the way with by precious Goldendoodle he had hit in the abdomen with his truck tire. Staff was waiting and literally had her out of the car and into triage within minutes of arrival. Dr. Courson was on call and she and her staff kept me informed as they did their FAST exam. We had to take our 10 year old dachshund on Sunday, July 12th because he had started having bloody diarrhea and we could not get it stopped. From the time we arrived they immediately took Rocky back and started working on him. Dr. Antal was very concerned and explained what she thought might be wrong. He had to end up getting a blood transfusion on Tuesday and his numbers did come up some but started going back down on Wednesday. I'm very pleased with the work that was done for my dog Bruce. The staff was very friendly and comforting while insuring he'll be fine. Celina was very helpful making sure a wheelchair users like me got in and out efficiently as well as assisting Bruce in the car. Very pleased 😄
