I would not recommend going here if you have anxiety. Dr. Roan was very rude and insensitive towards me. I was scared of the iv sedation and started crying when he tried to put the iv in and he kept telling me to be quiet and talked down on me and told me I needed to find someone else and to never come back. It would have been fine if he calmly talked to me and made me feel better but he just made the situation a million times worse.
Dr Roan did lower jaw surgery, at the recommendation of my incompetent orthodontist. Nobody told me what to do, other than "this is the only procedure that can fix you". The surgery did not fix the problem, and now fast forward 10 years....I must have the surgery reverted in order to fix my bite/speech/sleep issues. The surgery he did left permanent changes to the feeling in my lower jaw/lips. It's mind blowing to think what he did was detrimental to my medical state, yet they did it anyways. A visit for a consultation quoted 3 weeks before actual appt., was quoted $90. but when my 18 year old checked out it was $180. -not explaining to her the additional cost. The xray that was charged for had just been taken in Dec. 2012, so insurance will not cover it. The front staff knew she had a current xray, but too one and charged for it without any notification to her. So angry. $90 is hard to come by for some people. They were no help at all. I have Never been so outraged. Horrible experience. Would not recomment.
