Staff is very nice and courteous. Mindful of issues that needs to be addressed . Problems with financial department . They need to be more accurate on explaining what procedures cost and what patients are responsible for . Don’t say an amount then less than a month later get another outrageous bill when you were told an amount and promptly paid it . Then get slapped with another bill unexpectedly. Very upset about not having my cost explained in detail so I am not caught off guard from an unexpected bill.

He does appear to listen and is pretty friendly. But when I requested a colonoscopy & endoscopy bc I had cancer 18 months earlier (a high recurring rate type of cancer that cancer dr said it would be a good idea to have it done), he said I didn’t need it. Why? My age? I certainly would have felt more secure. Then I end up in ER Xmas eve with a bad case of diverticulitis, now I’m wondering if it could have been avoided. His staff is great, no complaints at all. So now I’m waiting for SGMC to get staffed with new gastroenterol... read more

Great Dr, staff and office. I have always been treated with respect and confidence. Dr Woods listens and makes his recommendations.

Unorganized office personnel. Scheduled at 10am. Left office at 11:45 not having been seen. Dr woods has the personality of a wet dish towel. He doesn’t listen and he’s one of those “I’m right because I’ve been doing this for 30 years”. Do yourself a favor and find another office, this one is awful.

A wonderful doctor easy to talk to. He’s my mother’s doctor for over 30 years.
