Wonderful, supportive dentist; does NOT believe in pain; TALKS to you like you are human; gives you options; her life long dental history has made her THE BEST DENTIST in Tucson. I have insurance she is 'out of network'. I have tried those 'in-network' and they were awful; went back to her after and won't leave her again. SUPER dentist!
I have never entered such a beautiful office and nicer group of ladies. From the moment I walked into the office I was comfortable and at ease. All of the staff was welcoming and professional. Dr Pinkerton ran on time and did a thorough new patient exam. She was patient and answered all of my questions. Her office is state of the art with digital x-rays and oral pictures. I was impressed with her oral cancer exam. I highly recommend Dr Pinkerton and her staff!!
I saw Dr. Pinkerton for the first time about a month ago! It was the most wonderful experience I have ever had in a dentist office. From the minute you walk in the door to the last thing before you leave, this office is the BEST! They treated me like I was the most important person to walk thru that door that day! Very effective and excellent practitioner! Somewhat limited availability (days and times).
Dr. Pinkerton accepted me as a new emergency patient about 8 years ago. I'm very fearful of dentists and she was gentle and reassuring. She's been our family dentist and has dealt with everything from routine exams to the restoration of broken front teeth to providing the permanent replacement tooth for a dental implant. Dr. Pinkerton is very thorough with her exam and is quite competant. She is nice and patient. Her hygienist is wonderful as well. I think she is worth what she charges but her prices are high.
Valarie Pinkerton takes the usually fear-laden incident of having to go to a dentist, and turns it in to an interactive, and relaxing visit with a lovely professional. Her staff are all "family" and you are never rushed; every step is taken with a logical explanation; perfection is her goal. She is just wonderful, and we are lucky she chose this profession!
I HIGHLY reccommend Dr Pinkerton, she is a 3rd generation Dentist, and is sensitive, and empathetic. I had come to her with having bad experiences with Dentist as a child, and she was so kind, to me. I also think that the reason that she is so good, is because she started as a hygenist, herself. All her staff is wonderful, too. I really will not go anywhere else.
