Val-U Home Improvements did a fantastic job residing our home with pre-painted James Hardie siding and PVC trim. We had old cedar shingles and a lot of carpenter ant damage to the plywood sheathing. The crew that worked on our job were true craftspeople. George and his project manager were very responsive when we had questions or concerns. Great experience all around. We are so happy to have the old damaged wood gone and the beautiful Hardie siding instead. Our house is no longer the ugliest one on the block.
Amazing work! We recently switched from cedar shingles to vinyl after our painter told us the old shingles were shot. George was wonderful to work with. He gave great options and advice. His crew was meticulous and diligent. They finished the project on time despite rain. Highly recommend.

Our plan was to replace 60-year-old cedar shingles with Hardie LAP siding. The Hardie company referred us to four qualified contractors in our area. We excluded the one who denigrated his competitors and the one who was absurdly self-aggrandizing. George Carroll is a trained engineer, very knowledgeable, provides straightforward answers to questions, and a man of his word.
