Dr Bawa is Phenomenal. She corrected an issue with my toe that I honestly didn't think could be made to look normal again. I was shocked to see I had a normal looking toe again. I hadn't worn sandals in several years because of it. This summer I was finally able to. She is one of few doctors I've ever seen that truly listens and cares about her patient's surgical results, and is honest about what can or cannot be done with a foot problem. I have been seeing Dr. Bawa for arthritis on the top of my foot. Each visit she was very caring and explained I could have surgery. I never felt that she was pushing me to do the surgery. I was hesitant because well, it's scary. I went ahead and had surgery and honestly had very little pain after. I am very pleased with the outcome.
I had to get into a podiatrist 'stat' per my normal doctor and Dr. Bawa was available. She was super nice and I had a good first appointment (ended up in a boot). The follow up appointments tho, she would consult without even touching my foot (like she knew what the next steps are without taking my foot into consideration). At my first follow up appointment, she said I was probably there because my hip was hurting from the boot. I am very picky when it comes to physicians (since I am one myself) and I know the intensive training Dr. Bawa has gone through really shows in her consultations! Dr. Bawa has such a warm nature to her that you just feel so at home with her. I have been battling an old dance injury and she is the one doctor I trust with my ankle!
