Absolutely zero urgency surrounding an in-warranty boiler fault leaving me without hot water for my family of four for four days, and charging me £40 for a new ‘certificate’(?) that wasn’t my fault I didn’t receive. Very flimsy warranty and attitude toward repairing their faulty appliances when it’s needed most. Use someone else.

Following my initial complaint and negative review, I’m pleased to update that Vaillant did eventually respond constructively. After escalating the matter and insisting that my boiler installation was accessible and safe, the company arranged for a lead engineer to attend. The engineer assessed the site, agreed that the setup was workable, and successfully completed the repair under warranty. While I remain disappointed that it took multiple emails, a complaint, and a public review to get to this point, I do appreciate that ... read more

No can do attitude from service/repair centre! Boiler is under warranty and only 4 years old , but stopped working second time F28 fault . Boiler is serviced annually but because no log book left by original fitting engineer, they won’t come out and repair even though they did repair it under warranty last year for same fault . Say need to get it ‘revalidated’ But why wasn’t it revalidated last time ?? Now being Charged £40 to revalidate it - despite them having the original commissioning certificate from installation engine... read more

I’m extremely disappointed with Vaillant’s warranty service. Although my boiler is under warranty, Vaillant refused to carry out a repair, citing “health and safety” concerns — despite the boiler being safely and professionally installed and fully accessible in a standard UK bathroom, and having been serviced annualy without issue. The engineer would have only needed to stand beside the toilet, which is very common in many small flats.
