Made reservations to Kirkwood, but was turned away even before making it to the ski resort because of a park out. Unacceptable to not have enough parking, and get denied entry because of a lack of spaces.
Unethical company. Massively oversold the Kirkwood resort and turned away hundreds of cars as early as 9am. We purchased our $125 lift tickets well in advance, paid for rentals, spent hours driving out to the resort, etc. only to be turned away despite arriving shortly after lifts opened. Staff admitted to this being a common occurrence and that this happens all the time due to intentional overselling. The alternative given to us by the "management team" was to drive to Heavenly and purchase a half-day ticket for $205. Sound... read more
