Bd for the ski industry. They’re jacking up day and season passes such that if you do not have means or a good job; skiing will be too expensive at their mountains; and most offensive, after you pay their exorbitant lift fees the resort is way too packed and oversold - but I’m sure that’s fine with these selfish bean counters. My new home after 20 years is Winter Park.
Vail resorts needs to leave Colorado. They are not welcome here.
I booked a room off Google Maps using the link that indicated it was the official site for the resort. I never received confirmation of the booking, so I called the 800 number listed for the resort. I was bounced back and forth multiple times between the reservation call center and the resort front desk as they both claimed they couldn't see my reservation. Take your money to Ikon or small resorts instead. I submitted a BBB complaint to Vail/Epic and they provided a very automated response. I rejected the response and they have zero decency to respond to all the documentation I provided. I am not going to detail my injury or situation here, but based on the timeline and receipts there is no reason to NOT consider pushing my 2 days to next season. These folks are heartless and unwavering against their policy even when an exception is obvious. My house burned down in Nov and I requested a refund for my epic pass. Their policy is 30 days for a refund. I had bigger fish to fry and didn't get to this in time. I never used the pass and yet they refuse to reimburse me for it. Criminal!!!
