Great property! We loved the location of the property, just steps from the gondola and an easy walk to many restaurants and shops. However, as other guests have said, the water in the unit is not hot. It was just warm enough to take a quick, not-quite-uncomfortable shower. I advised the front desk of this upon checkout, but because of prior complaints, I have to wonder if it will be adjusted. Great place to stay to stay to ski and soak! If you're looking for a reasonably priced place to stay and ski vail, this place has all the amenities you need at half the price of staying in the village! Hot tub was hot, and only a short walk (center of the complex) - we used it every day! Laundry available in the unit, which was good to wash and dry our ski gear each day. An east vail shuttle bus stop is literally less than a 50' walk from the property door so you don't have to park at the resort (pitkin creek stop). There is... read more
We love this place for many reasons, but one stands out; the staff make you feel at home and take care of your every need. They anticipate what you might need and make it happen for you. The bellmen/ valets are top notch, running guests' bags all through out the lodge, clearing the driveway of snow, and providing rides into the village. The guys helping with the skis at the end of the day and first thing in the morning are working as hard as anybody making sure we all get on and off the slopes.
