I would not recommend this emergency room based on my experience. The entire visit took far too long, especially considering there was virtually no one else in the ER. The only bright spot was Nurse Molly Flynn, who was kind, compassionate, and truly kept our emotions in mind during an incredibly difficult situation. She was wonderful. We had two ER visits at Vail Health for our daughter's bilious emesis, and I want to highlight Dr. Nyberg's care in particular. Our first visit worked up constipation as the likely cause, but she had recurrent bilious emesis shortly after discharge, so we returned. Dr. Nyberg, though not a Pedi ErR physician, took the time to listen carefully and completed a thorough work-up to rule out anything more serious. Had to visit Urgent Care while son was ill during vacation in Vail. Staff was incredibly friendly
Awful staff all around . Would highly recommend the drive to Summit County or Eagle if non urgent. The staff is not good and will make you wait forever. They are also unkind . Would rate negative stars if possible.
On New Year's Eve 12/31/24, I broke my wrist walking back from the Fireworks display on the mountain. I cannot thank the entire ER staff enough for the kindness and care that was shown to me that night - from the woman who worked hard to quickly check me in, to all of the nurses that night, the xray tech, and Dr. Scott McCorvey, the ER doctor.
