Asian salad would be a nice addition if the recipe was more interesting. There was about a cup of fried wonton strips on the top and almost nothing but edamame. I added some salmon but it and the salad dressing was extremely bland and no Asian flavor at all. It would be a lot better if there were cashews on it and a dressing with toasted sesame oil, mirin, ginger, garlic and tamari- actual piece of cucumber or fresh snap peas instead of extremely thinly sliced cucumber skins, carrots, and onion. I stated this hotel in late August, the hottest time of year in Florida. The air-conditioning in my hotel room would not get below 76°. When I spoke to the front desk, they said there was nothing they could do. The air conditioner is preset, and the temperature cannot get any lower because the unit would freeze over. Which I guess is fine for a place charging $250 a night, but it seems unreasonable for the rate currently listed online (and even higher during the season). The entire place is top notch! The staff is amazing. The view is perfect. Thanks for making it a fabulous stay! I want to get that part out of the way because that was the biggest part of our stay. We had lunch at latitudes restaurant & the mezze plate was to die for! I got the lobster roll my feiend got the fish (grouper?) Sandwich. Neither of us were impressed with them but edible.
