I booked a 3 night stay for Nashville (Dec. 29-Jan. 1) in early July. I received an email confirmation the next day giving me a booking ID so of course I thought it was all taken care of. I received an email Nov. 8 that my reservation was never actually booked. I phoned VMG to learn that the employee in July took my reservation and 1st payment (1/2 installments) but never booked this reservation with the resort. Reservation made four month prior to the trip paid in full and confirmed under strict cancelation policy cancelled by Vacation Management Group (VMG) a week before the trip. A single hotel room with not enough sleeping places offered in replacement for two bedroom two bathroom condo one and a half hours away driving distance from original accommodation. That caused trip cancelation and loss of airfare and time scheduled for vacation.
