My family and I highly recommend Patrick, Susan and their company Vacation Chefs. While the food was outstanding, the service and comradery were the proverbial icing on the cake. We highly recommend them and will definitely be enjoying their hospitality again soon.
I know a lot of reviews start with “It was the best…” and too often, that’s just hyperbole for something that was merely good. This isn’t one of those reviews. From the very first bite, I knew this meal was something special. It’s not just that Chef Patrick approaches each dish with precision—he’s also incredibly accommodating. Our experience with Chef Patrick was excellent! He prepped, cooked, and served a 3 course meal for a group of us while on vacation in Kiawah and everything was delicious (and also cleaned up the kitchen, it was immaculate). My sister asked if he bottled and sold the Caesar salad dress :) With 5 kids, it was much easier, more enjoyable and tastier than dining at a restaurant. Thanks again, we will be booking in the future!
The food was delicious! Patrick was very professional, gracious and kind! He made us a wonderful dinner! The fried green tomato appetizer was so good, the salad was amazing, and the surf and turf was yummy! And of course the flourless chocolate torte was just a perfect ending to a great night! Highly recommend!
We hired Vacation Chefs to prepare a private dinner for our party of 10 at the home we rented while staying on Kiawah Island. Chef Devonte and Susan prepared a fantastic meal for us and were so patient and accommodating while we finished up our photo session and got the three babies to bed.
