It has kept me alive.
I have spent three days in the Southeast Louisiana veterans health Care hospital in New Orleans. The doctors nurses and nurses assistance staff have all performed exemplary. They are not only knowledgeable helpful and professional but they also made me feel at home like family. I almost felt like I was in a resort hotel rather than a hospital. Thank God for the staff at the New Orleans veterans hospital. Hopefully I'll never have to stay in the hospital again but if I do I'll look forward to doing it at the New Orleans veter... read more
As a Navy Vet and a son of New Orleans, I can honestly say the VA is not perfect but this one comes close. This VA is uniquely New Orleans and for the most part I was treated well here. I lived in Houston for a while and when I saw how bad Houston was I would make the drive to New Orleans to be seen. I appreciate this VA giving me the options to be seen outside of this VA (community care) when I was not satisfied with my provider.
