My recent experience is more troubling. My mom can’t speak English. The dentist office insists a English-speaking family member must accompany her. I told them I was able to translate on the phone as needed, or my mom knew how to use Google Translate app too, but they said the dentist’s rule is a English speaking family has to come, he doesn't accept any other alternative translation method. ======================================= My dad had a good experience here. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. The hygienist I found to be exceptional. She took the time to explain things and always kept me informed of what she was about to do. No surprises! I was nervous going in and she quickly made me feel comfortable and relaxed. For those that do not have dental insurance (like myself) I highly encourage getting a dental plan that Virginia Smiles accepts and give them go!
