The answering system is pretty bad. Calls get disconnected while you are waiting, before anyone answers, and takes a long time to get someone on the phone.
Good luck getting anyone to actually answer the phone. It just rings and rings, and then it loops back to the main message to start you all over again. Rinse. Repeat. I'm willing to support fully privatizing the VA and ejecting the entirety of the VA federal workforce. It can't possibly get any worse than it currently is.
The WORST clinic I’ve tried to contact. Never answers or line just beeps.
Was referred out to Community Care for a cracked tooth on 21 July. Needs a crown and the dentist I was referred to submitted all the required documents on-line. 34 days later I’m still waiting for the dentist at the Fort Worth VA clinic to approve it. If already called them 3 times and today makes the 4th, been on hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak with someone. Since the initial exam and recommendation for a crown my tooth has broke. This place is horrible. They never get things done in a timely manner. I’ve been waiting over a month for a GI consult, when I have been spitting up blood. These folks are completely incompetent.
