The facility may be nearly new, but the culture is falling apart. I’ve lost count of how many times a nurse has been misleading or neglectful in my medical records. The doctors who are worth their salt don’t seem to last here— Community care referrals are denied almost across the board, even when the VA itself can’t provide an appointment for months. Lady I spoke to this morning to confirm a few of my apt details was absolute trash. You'd think answering the most simple questions is easy enough to do, and even better when you're getting paid for it. But nope. All I got was attitude and felt like I was the one wasting her time. I just don't think you should be working in a job where the people you are working for are an inconvenience to you. Especially when this happens to deal with veterans. I'd give zero stars, but you can't do that unfortunately.
Been trying for one hour to contact Fort Worth VA for a referral. Phone rings, and rings with no answer or voice mail. Try it another way and you push this, touch 2, and get caught in the never ending loop back to the beginning push this. Very frustrating anytime, but especially when you're sick. Not good.
Getting someone or anybody in the women's clinic to answer the phone is deplorable. The people that do answer has to get your info and send a message to the clinic, which I doubt , and not to mention how rude several of the call center people are is terrible. This makes no sense and something needs to be done. They tell you they are not allowed to transfer calls just take messages. I'm so over this mess of a so called system.
Over 3 hours to get my blood drawn. 2/8 people showed up. My question is where was the operations person to at least put this out so veterans could decide to come another day. 6 people out sounds a little fishy to me. Again poor management of resources and people. And the veteran suffers. Who's accountable? Unacceptable. Also you get called by number to check in just to sit down again for hours.
