Road to the main entrance is currently under construction. However, there are detour signs that clearly lead the way to the parking lot.
There is a parking space for women. Who are pregnant women and I'm pregnant. My husband park in it. When we were leaving their was not so nice officer yelling at us. About how we can't park and he was getting close to our car still yelling at us. We couldn't believe it! My husband has been going to the other VA.
I've heard a lot of good things about this hospital. I grew up down the street. It's changed a lot since I was younger. A special shout out to all our Vets , a special THANK YOU. I believe it should be Veterans Day EVERYDAY!!!!
I love the VA healthcare system. I use both Newington and West Haven facilities. The people are very caring and they take care of us vets. I feel I get the best medical care through the VA and appreciate immensely the support I get from the staff. When I go to a VA hospital all I see are heroes! That is because all my heroes wear a uniform!
