Dr. Richards is the best and most amazing physician ever!! His bedside manner, calm and peaceful demeanor makes a pleasant visit-always. I’m grateful to have him!
I'm a nurse at the Central Texas VA in Temple TX; and proud of it. I was traveling from Texas to Detroit, when I started having chest pains. The closest VA on our route was Marion. They were wonderful...efficient, thorough and caring. Not only did they take good care of me; they kept my husband calm and cared-for as well. I'm good...stable and going to see my doc at home. But, I want to say "Well done!" to my extended VA family.
The care I received was excellent. We are out of town six and a half hours away from home camping. When my phone updated and it no longer supported my insulin pump app. So had to go to the er in marion, in about 29 minutes saw the nurse and 2 Dr's 1 being an endocrinologist. They got me taken care of insulin to hold me over till I get back to my va in north chicago. All of the staff was extremely courteous and helpful
The medical center is great but if don't have transportation good luck getting anywhere out of town. I have had to reschedule my ENT appointment three times because the travel department keeps cancelling on me. This last time they didn't even give the three business day notice they're supposed to give, I was told the day before. I have a fourth appointment but no real hope if getting there.
