Dr Steve Martinez is great.
Probably one of the worst VA hospitals in the world. I literally moved 140 mi away so I didn't ever have to go back there again. They've tried to kill me numerous times, almost died on the floor in the emergency room after sitting there for 3 hours with no one there. They've drugged me and then when I went back for prescription refills they've called me a druggie. I've come into waiting rooms with war movies on TV, in a place filled with veterans with PTSD! My father received excellent care at Marion VA hospital. He was under hospice care. His Dr. and nurses went above and beyond to care for him and make him comfortable. His Dr. even came in on Memorial Day weekend on her day off to make sure he was comfortable. The care and compassion we were shown i didnt think existed in our health care system. He was also assigned to a group at the VA. NVDA - no veteran will die alone. This is a wonderful group of volunteers that came and stayed with us. They would come and sit outside your... read more
