These people are useless. I mean USELESS. If you need mental health care DON'T GO HERE. My husband has had every single appointment cancelled or the doctor no show. I wonder how many vets have offed themselves waiting for help. I hear Gainesville is better, but I wouldn't bother with this place. Even the regular check ups are useless. He's been struggling with insomnia for year, and they have no interest in finding out why or how to fix it. None of the medications are helping with it and they just don't care. Cheryl Gaylord has a nasty attitude and shouldn’t be working with veterans. Please have some accountability in the VA and investigate how she treats others while on the job. I know more veterans than myself have been mistreated by her.
Between the interactions with the receptionist and phlebotomists last week, to the receptionists checking in and out, the nurse, Heather, Dr. Nazario (pcp) and the psychologist, Dr. Martin, today... I truly have nothing but positive things to say. Each person took the time to ask questions, listen to what I had to say, and were honestly more proactive in present and future care than I anticipated on a first visit. I've never had a better experience at a VA clinic, than I had here, today. Highly recommended.
