I had a very positive experience during my visit to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was welcoming, professional, and extremely helpful. Everyone I encountered treated me with respect and made the visit smooth and comfortable. I would especially like to recognize Barbara Yankson Akoto. She was outstanding. I am fairly new to the Cincinnati VA, but I must say that the care I have received there so far is as good as I have received anywhere. Better than some. Everyone is polite and courteous. Updated review. If you need assistance through the community care office expect them to sit on your request for a week and then have listen to them make excuses like beign short staffed. Then the PATIENT advocate takes the VA's side in everything in NOT the patient. Also the mental health clinic in Ft. Thomas just leaves you haning waiting ... read more
