When I arrived for my appointment, the barber was ready for me. The end product of the shave was very good. Unfortunately, the entire shave seemed a little rushed. It took 15 minutes from beginning to end. After providing a close shave with the straight razor, the barber used an electric razor over the entire face, which was a little disappointing. Russ is a great barber/ stylist. Cuts my hair perfect every time, exactly how I ask for it to look. Russ uses straight razor for neck and bald fades near neck/shoulder area. Careful techniques leads to great haircuts. Highly recommend!
I went in for just a lineup, and my forehead literally grew two and a half inches, and I felt like it was done on purpose Because they did not want me in their shop. the first time I got a cut with rus he did an amazing job. But the older bald gentleman that sits in the back acted like he did not want me in as soon as I walked in and egregiously ruined my hairline. So it was my second time going to the shop. I normally come after I get off of work. And I am a young African American male, the energy I got from the shop owner when I went there was that he kind of didn't want me in there all ready to begin with. i'm not broke, and I am a great tipper so I was like, I will show them that i'm not a bad client by my actions.
