Of course I am very familiar with V-LINC's work and have met many who have received help through The Mary Salkever Summer Camp and the customized solutions that it's volunteer engineers, OTs, PTs and others have delivered. Each person who receives a solution, with a few exceptions, feels it has made them or their family member more indepedent. I am proud to say that V-LINC Volunteers work hard to meet each person's needs because they genuinely care.
An amazing summer camp for children with autism and other disabilities; they are able to participate in camp activities and not be judged or looked upon as different. I have seen how this program has helps my son become Mr. Sociability over the years. A Big thank you V-Linc, and all the staff and volunteers who have made this camp awesome year after year.
I was around when John Staehlin started this activity. He worked for me at Westingouse. His enginuity and persistence made V-Link work. I have always been proud of what John accomplished as an engineer and founder of V-Link.
This is an amazing and creative service, run by amazing people- both staff and volunteers!
My daughter went to the 5 day computer camp and had the best time. The people are so nice and love the kids. I will keep in touch and would recommend V-Linc to others
Horrible organization! My daughter has been waiting for her bike for months. Every fitting it has new parts that don't fit her. The Executive director herself just hung up on me. Her bike was only being held to see harness and fix brake cord.
